The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (91³ÉÈË) is pleased to announce the appointment of Wendy Williamson as Aftermarket Development Manager. Wendy brings a wealth of experience in the aftermarket sector and will take control of 91³ÉÈË activities from the end of the year when 91³ÉÈË’s current aftermarket expert, Bob Davis, retires.

Prior to joining 91³ÉÈË, Wendy spent many years working both in the commercial vehicle and automotive sectors at Unipart. Her relationship with key stakeholders and knowledge of topical issues will prove invaluable as 91³ÉÈË builds-on and develops its aftermarket activities.

Commenting on 91³ÉÈË’s new appointment, Chief Executive Paul Everitt said, “The aftermarket sector is one of UK automotive’s most diverse and dynamic business areas, so Wendy’s experience and passion for the industry will be invaluable to 91³ÉÈË’s support for its aftermarket members.”

Wendy replaces Bob Davis who retires after more than 27 years in the industry with 91³ÉÈË. During his time with 91³ÉÈË, he was a board member of FIGIEFA, the international body for automotive aftermarket distributers, was influential in the ‘Right to Repair’ campaign and has recently been instrumental in the progress towards digital radio rollout across the sector.
