Rolls looks to fill roles in latest apprenticeship initiative
3 Dec 2013Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is seeking candidates for its 2014 Apprentice Programme, which will see successful applicants working with skilled craftspeople across a range of the firm鈥檚 manufacturing sections.
Launched in 2006 and developed in collaboration with the Learning Skills Council, the Apprenticeship Programme gives young people aged 16-24 the chance to develop their skills with the luxury car brand. Individual apprenticeships can last up to four years, and combine a learning-by-doing approach with study for nationally recognised qualifications. Participants may also have the chance to advance their employment with Rolls-Royce if their placement is deemed to have been successful.

It emerged in October that more people than ever before are taking part in UK-based apprenticeships, with members聽anticipating the creation of聽an additional 7,600 apprenticeships and 1,700 graduate roles in the motor industry聽over the next five years.
