• July bus and coach registrations down three per cent on July 2004
• Rolling year total down 1.8 per cent to 12,426
• More heavy single-deck buses in July; double-deckers continue to decline

‘Bus and coach registrations in 2005 should equal 2004 volumes.’ said Christopher Macgowan, 91³ÉÈË chief executive. ‘July registrations for heavy single deck buses reflect continued deliveries of orders won from major bus operators last winter. Despite a weak month for coaches and declining volumes of double deck buses, the overriding theme is of stability and balance.’
