Join 91³ÉÈË, with support from the Department for Business and Trade, for a practical member webinar on the British Industrial Competitiveness Scheme.

The session explained how eligible businesses may be able to benefit from the Government’s £600 million scheme, designed to reduce electricity costs by up to 25%.

Although the scheme is due to begin in 2027, members will need to prepare ahead of time. Applications are expected to open on 1 October for a limited two-month window, making it important for businesses to understand the requirements early.

The webinar will cover:

• Who may be eligible for support
• How the application process is expected to work
• Key dates and deadlines
• What businesses should do now to prepare
• The wider work 91³ÉÈË is undertaking to help the sector reduce energy costs and strengthen industrial competitiveness

Members will also have the opportunity to put questions to 91³ÉÈË and DBT during the session.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
