The reports were first published in 2001 and demonstrate the 91³ÉÈË’s desire to be transparent about the industry’s environmental performance. The data is derived by 91³ÉÈË from linking vehicles’ CO2 levels to the 91³ÉÈË new vehicle registration database. This allows the market to be studied by fuel type, sales type, segment and by various taxation measures, such as Vehicle Excise Duty. The reports also look at influences on the performance, total CO2 emissions from all cars in use and ways to achieve future gains.
